Registration

1 - the consular card.

All Senegalese residing in the jurisdiction of a board or embassy will have to register at it. A register will be open for this purpose. However, information is subject to the production of a file including the above-named after:

- An application for registration in (03) copies;

- Four (04) photocopies of identity;

- A national identity documents (passport, valid national identity card or citizenship certificate);

- A stamp of 2000 FCFA

When issuing cards to those concerned, the embassy or consulate must affix the fingerprint of the left index finger on the card holder's consulate.

The consular registration plays an important census. The consular card also allows the holder to receive a certificate of removal on his final return to Senegal

If you go to the Customs, because you have made purchases and want them to zero-rate, Customs will ask you to justify your place of residence abroad which only the consular card can attest.
